i can't feel anything from the elbow down

i did some mad knitting today. finished gram's toe up socks. botched the ribbed cuff a bit but i don't think she'll notice or care. the cast off edge is tighter that i would have liked but she should have no trouble getting the socks on. i cast on a new pair of socks (for me) the peacock multi from knitpicks. i cast on effortlessly, then proceeded to pull out the needle and lose some stitches at the beginning. i did damage control (read that as damnage control!) and the toe doesn't look too bad.

hence, why my arm is numb from my elbow to my hand. carpal tunnel, yippee skippee.


the boy's new carseats also arrived today. i put them together and hubby installed. my car needs a seatbelt extension, so i'll have to find a chevy dealer that will provide (since my dealer closed several years ago). the boy loves his new seats. he feels big now. we have to buy 2 more seats, one for my folks, one for hubby's. guess who's seat gets used more?

bath time. then bed time. no more knitting tonight.
