i am now doing the short row heel the gram's socks. i am taking a break on the second sock becos my hands and wrist are killing me. i needed to get the heels done in reasonable quiet becos i will not get this opportunity this week. i lost my monday, and i can't do this work at knitting group or at home (not with the monkey er my son jumping around).
my gram is doing better and is now in a regular room, not icu. she is still having some bp spikes but the doctor hopes that meds should help that. this makes me feel better.
and one more gripe. last night my MIL called, and i answered the phone. no, hi diva, how's your gram? no, hello, i'm sorry to hear about your gram. just "hi, can i talk to hubby?" oh well. tact and class can't be bought.
