knitting in the park
i should've knitted the day before. it was hard finding a bench in the park that wasn't already occupied. it was a gorgeous day in the 70s. people were sitting on the lawn painting, drawing, making music, kids were running around, some half naked guys jogged through the park (i thought it was a flash mob!) and people walked their dogs. it's the type of park that i would love to take the boy and we'd run around or he'd play on the brass statues while i knitted. i'd planned on feeding the pigeons with leftover naan from our indian dinner, but i was afraid people would get pissed about a cloud of birds, so i tore the bread into chunks and left them around a garbage can, and left the tin foil on top so someone could recycle it.
