i have been taking pictures of my stash to put in the ravelry stash list. i took pics of all my sock yarns, and about half of my cedar chest stash. i've pretty much used up my limit in flickr for the month and now have to wait to download more pics.
the stupidity part is that i thought i could make more space on flickr and delete pictures. no can do. when they're deleted, they're GONE. and now my ravelry stash has picture holes where "pictures are currently unavailable." so now i have to wait for the beginning of august to re-upload my pictures and waste more space in the process and then i can't download more pictures until september. now, i can cut this foolishness by buying a year's worth of space for $25, but i'd rather not spend the money. it's not a big deal, and most of august will be spent vacationing with family and the boy goes to school the end of the month. but i'm still kicking myself for not reading the FAQ and learning that deleting pics is wrong.
i'm due for my monthly bill and am still feeling punchy. i can't wait for it to get here and end the nonsense, or by luck be knocked up since we haven't really taken precautions and figured it wouldn't hurt anyway.
i am REALLY in dire need of a day or two for me. i miss my mondays. and i can tell the boy misses them too. i'll be so glad when the damn garage is finally finished.
i'm also frustrated becos i can't find suitable yarn for my mobius scarf for KDO. they recommend mohair which i find to be a bitch to work with. they also recommend a smooth in a light color. i have no light colors, at least none that i'd want to wear around my neck. i did find VH's rock in Siouxsie that i think would work but it's a dark plum and therefore goes against the "light color" request. i'd rather not buy more yarn since i'm dieting but i'm not sure i'll have much choice.
i still ache. it could be from sitting in AC all day. but i've been pretty active this week too, moving boxes and putting stuff away. annoying.
