today was the first day i went to friday farmer's market in lewisburg. the vendors are all organic and the stuff is really good. my favorite vendors weren't there, but i did get asparagus, whoopie pies (which i am craving like crazy), cookies and grass fed ground beef for burgers on monday. it's still pretty early for market and i'm sure the vendors will be back, and it's really early for produce too. i'm not sure how long i can go by myself and the boy. it was really hot and my belly was hurting. so sooner than later mom and dad will have to take me to market. it's not a big deal, spesh if we stop at dries on the way back for local produce too.
i got me local strawberries at dries. oh dear Lord, it was like eating candy. soooooooooooo delicious!!!!! i piled a whole bowlful in my mouth as soon as i got home. the rest i spread on a cookie sheet (like martha recommended). i have been craving strawberries too - must be the folic acid/vitamin C. berries are a much better choice than whoopie pies, that's for sure!
i'm not very techno savvy, but i figured out how to print labels in word. i bought address labels so i could stick them on the wikki packs i got for the boy's last day of school, and instead of writing out 18 labels, i figured out how to type my message then print the label out. yay for me, it worked! 20 labels just waiting to be slapped on the packages. i know it's a little thing, but it made me feel good that i figured out how to do the labels by myself. now i'll be able to do address labels for the xmas cards later this year!
guess that's about it. i'm coming up on 24 weeks/6 months. think i'll blog that after my appointment next week.
