my knickers are in a knot

today i was taking inventory of the clothes i have to last me for the next few months. i have 3 pairs of shorts, a pair of overalls (which will soon be outgrown), half a dozen pairs of black capris, and a couple pairs of navy, white and gray pants. shirts i'm doing okay on (so far). i have a few nighties to wear too. then i got to my panties. i have maybe a half dozen pairs of panties. i do wash a couple times a week, but still, do the math.

so i think, okay, time to do a run to big girl's clothing emporium where i usually buy my undies. i loathe to do it becos it's at the mall and i'm avoiding all points west becos of construction for the next couple of weeks. okay, i can order them online! i'm a genius! so i go to their online store, find the panties i want...and the biggest size i can get is my pre-preggo size. no biggy, i'll look at the panties at penney's online. they had some options, but the sizing was weird, and i didn't know if i was paying $18 for one pair or 3 pairs of pants.

so now i'm back to square one. and my knickers are in a knot.
