just had 32 week checkup. all is well. heard rolly and hiccup's heart beats, which was reassuring. doc seemed pleased with me and them. next week i start going for weekly non stress tests and ultrasounds. i never had this when i had the boy but i guess they're the norm now, spesh with twins. doc gave a thumbs down to upping the EDD, so i guess it's the end of 37 weeks we're looking at. hopefully the babies have other ideas and decide to come early! please! anytime after August 10 and before September 20!

everywhere i look i've heard horror stories about recent births. 2 new ravelers lost their babies shortly after birth within the past 2 weeks. an acquaintance who was also having twins gave birth to hers last week at 26 weeks. she had preeclampsia, she had no option, and the babies are apparently doing well considering. but it still has the shit scared out of me. i don't want to carry these babies only to lose one or both. i pray God wouldn't be that cruel to me.

boy had a good time on vacation with my folks. came home with a buttload of battlekons - some kind of ball that when you throw it on the floor it becomes a robot? kinda like pokemon? i don't get it either but he loves them, so i guess we have a new expensive hobby to look forward to now.
