knitcroblo week taught me a lot about blogging.
it reminded me of my knitting roots, and why i love knitting.
people, patterns and books inspire me to push my limits.
i read a lot of knitting and craft blogs.
i have a long way to go with learning new knitting skills. i haven't even scratched the surface.
i need to clean up the computer room. it's not even a computer room anymore. i should take the time to clean it up and organize my knitting and craft supplies. that room could be a beautiful craft room/library.
writing about linus was cathartic in remembering my losses, a big step in my HAPL process.
i have too damn much yarn. it's time to diet. where have i heard that before?
making stitch markers is just another creative outlet for me.
i really enjoy writing. it was one of my favorite subjects in school. too bad i can't parlay my blog into a career a la yarn harlot.
it is really hard to blog every day. the kiddos keep me busy and some days i just can't be bothered to crack open the laptop and write. i tried to blog from my ipod but apparently blogger doesn't work that way.
i started this blog to brag about my knitting. it has since morphed into an online scrapbook of sorts. not only to i write about my knitting, but my children's milestones, current events. it's a great place for me to pour my emotions out. it's scary putting yourself out there where anyone can read what you write. writing my blog makes me feel bold. i'm a shy, conservative person by nature. writing really opens me up.
i think knitting and crocheting blog week was a great success, and i can't wait to do it again next year!
