upcycled

inspired by the salad in a jar, i found some pretty jars down cellar.  they are left over from a time when hubby used to can spaghetti sauce and grape juice.

a couple of these jars were in a shopping bag - i wonder if they were from my parents.  one had an apple butter label still stuck to the lid.

these jars are bigger for my salads.  i also want to use them to store soup leftovers.  while i switched to mostly pyrex storage containers, i still use small plastic storage containers in a pinch, and it would be so much easier to pour the soup from a jar than spoon it from a container.  also, the jars are narrower and would take up less room in the fridge.
