tomorrow is easter, the end of lent. how did i do on giving up worrying, which is what i gave up for lent? can't say i did that great. let's face it, i'm a born worrier. it's in my DNA.
i've been KOd by a cold which is why i haven't been on for a while.
i have 7 squares done on my sampler afghan. only 5 more to go (and hopefully 4 more if i have the time).
why is it when i watch certain shows the time flies (like CSI) but when i watch other shows (like eli stone) the time crawls. guess it means i don't like the show so much. same goes for the boy's shows. they CRAWL at an alarming slow rate.
hubby is stripping paint off our stairs. we want to refinish all the trim back to the natural color. it'll look great when we refinish the floors down stairs.
went shopping thursday for new pants and tops for vacation (and church). can i just say that the spring lines are as ugly as the fall ones? no pants that i liked, no tops that i liked, just ugly pastels (like i need something else to make me look bigger than i already am!) even the clothes at old navy were horrible. this is prolly a good thing tho - save money by not buying clothes! i did get new shoes for the wedding and for church - nice sandals with heels. they were on sale too. so i'm good for shoes for a while now.
