dear mr. web administrator:
just wanted to tell you how much i enjoy reading the blogs at my favorite tv station, not to mention the comments that half wits leave in the talk back web page. i am sorry that you didn't like the comment that i made about a certain personality's blog post and that it was rather "harsh". i'm well aware that you are doing your job and felt that my comment, "no skanks for old men" was inappropriate. well, i was only stating my opinion, just like buddy was making in his post. to wit:
buddy asked us to draw the conclusion on several noted area scandals. please allow me to state my thoughts on each situation and then post my conclusion.
the first story was the political official who lost reelection becos he allegedly choked his mistress. i see 2 things wrong here. a, he physically harmed someone (albeit ALLEGEDLY). sorry, but hurting someone doesn't get my vote. b, he did it to his MISTRESS. meaning, he was cheating on someone, namely his wife. sorry, but this won't get you elected by me either. and shame on the skank for helping him cheat on his wife.
the second story was about the ny governor who had to resign because he was caught purchasing services from an escort service. may i also add, HE WAS MARRIED TOO. for shame on him, and the whore he hired too.
the last story was about the politician who won't get on the ballot becos he supposedly lied about his residence. a, if he lied, then i don't want him office. b (and this is the part where i realize i should reserve judgement becos i don't know the entire circumstances) he's living with his fiance who's half his age. i think that's what grosses me out more, someone who is with someone half their age. whatever. their business, not mine.
on top of this, my own personal story about the family friend who left his family after 40 years of marriage to shack up with someone half HIS age. you can guess why buddy's post left me with a very bad taste in my mouth and with a rather negative opinion towards men on this particular day.
so hence, why buddy should have titled his post "no skanks for old men". what the hell is wrong with this week, where all the stories are about men who stepped out on their wives with skanks. sorry if you didn't get it.
i don't know if i was banned just from that particular post (whatever) or from the entire talkback page (what a shame, cos when i get my snark on i'm GOOD), but anywho, since i feel that i can't post on the page and most likely you'll NEVER see my post, i'm getting this off my chest (this is confessional wednesday, after all). tell buddy he's doing a hell of a job with his blog. i'll keep reading.
