if i treated my patient files this way...

i'dve gotten my butt fired quicker than a firecracker.

the doctors (or more to the point, the staff) of the doctors' offices i go to are so frickin' stupid. first my gyno nurse doesn't believe i'm preggers. now the breast health center nurse calls and wonders why i cancelled my mammogram for next week. HELLO!!!!!!! isn't it marked in the file or in my computer record why i cancelled? do these people have shit for brains? i NEVER did this to patient files. if i took a cancellation message i tried to take as much information as to why the appointment was cancelled, and (depending on the person) sometimes it was placed and/or noted in the file but at least the doctor or therapist knew why someone was canceling. if the staff can't be bothered to read notes or put the notes on file, then HIRE MORE DAMN STAFF. OR AT LEAST HIRE SOMEONE WHO CARES.

i've been a good girl today with my eating. i'm making chicken korma and rice for supper (i was lazy and bought a jar of sauce) and making a pot roast in the oven (beef's good for iron). i am so excited for tomorrow since the farmer's market is opening in lewisburg for the season!! i can get my organic produce and sunflower seeds and what i don't get (like fruit) i'll get at dries'. yes i'm a strange girl to get excited over farmers markets. but considering what i'm paying for produce at my usual grocery store i'm willing to pay a little more for stuff that tastes good and isn't frozen!
