now don't be a piggy...

my local surplus store is starting to piss me off.

this is the place where you can get juice boxes for 10 cents a piece (if you don't mind they expired a year ago). usually they are filled to the gills with juice boxes. even pre-wrapped ones. for the past 2 visits, there was nary a juice box to be had.

same with the mac n cheese. past couple of visits there were hardly any to pick from. i got a few boxes on this round, but now they were marked up to "2/$1". greedy greedy greedy. i can get mac n cheese cheaper at my local store. and it ain't expired either.

i have been hoarding anti-viral kleenex since the store opened. i could usually buy a box for 75 cents (really cheap). now they have them marked up to a buck nine. at this rate, i might as well by them at the box store too!

i know all grocery prices are going up. i just didn't expect it at the surplus store.

keep it up, and i'll get ALL my groceries at my local grocery. at least they pay me 10 cents/gallon for every 50 bucks i spend (and nowadays, that's pretty easy).
