oregon trail

mom's bringing the boy home soon. he stayed over and they took him to church. hubby's making tater tot casserole. we had to laugh about what we did last night. instead of whooping it up without the boy, we stayed in playing...old school oregon trail. remember that computer game, played on a mac III? hubby found a free copy online and we spent the hour playing dualing trails (i was a banker, he was a farmer.) i made it but got really low points for my character. hubby died and didn't get any points at all. he played again, as the carpenter, and won enough points to get on the hall of fame board. i downloaded an updated version on my ipod (it was free but very limited) but it costs $5 if i want to download the whole game. it was such a blast playing the old game. it took me back to middle school, making decisions, naming the family. i think the boy will get a kick out of the game too.
