st paddy's day feast (in a crock pot no less - my irish ancestors are probably spinning in their graves. i could have eaten the entire pot. then i was hungry for bangers and mash and colcannon):
hubby's bday feast: polpette (meatloaf with mortadella salami and pistachios), smashed sweet potatoes and sauteed mushrooms and shallots in wine sauce (my best yet):
"filled" pork chops with sauteed mushrooms in wine sauce (really, i should have just made up a box of stuffing and ate that. and that was my second go with the mushrooms. not the best, but not bad either):
