Now that you're old and wise, what advice do you have for your children that they can avoid the mistakes you made?
(this was a suggested topic during last november's NaBloPoMo that hung out in my drafts folder...enjoy!)
take your time to figure out what you want to do with your life. i thought i knew what i wanted to do when i was 18 years old, but nearly 20 years later, i still don't know what i want to do.
travel when you can. take every opportunity you can to see the world. study abroad in college, go somewhere nice on your honeymoon, take nice trips before you have children. and remember to take nice trips with your kids.
remember to tithe. God takes care of those who tithe, and you will never be in want.
remember it's the quality of friends, not the quantity of friends.
your virginity is your virtue. rein in those raging hormones and save it for your soul mate. you will never regret it.
