the beekeeper's quilt

this is the beekeeper's quilt (rav linky) by tiny owl knits.  it became the latest knit phenomenon on ravelry, complete with a KAL!  the blanket is made up of honeycomb shaped puffy pockets called "hexipuffs". they are knit up with sock yarn - a good way to use up leftovers.  i know i have lots of leftover sock yarn (plus lots of skeins that i don't know what to do with!)

i am SO knitting this quilt!
