baby it's cold outside

'tis the season for socks:

i like knitting socks but i don't like wearing them.  i like to be barefoot.  today seemed especially chilly and my feet and ankles are aching, so i dug out the thickest, warmest ones i had.

thank goodness for wooly goodness!
