{this moment} - a friday ritual.  a single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week.  a simple, special, extraordinary moment.  a moment i want to pause, savor and remember.  this feature is inspired by soulemama.

for years i've always admired this farmer's field of sunflowers.  to me, they are the harbingers of summer's end with the start of school on the horizon.  sunflowers are also one of my favorite flowers.

we used to pass this field of sunflowers when i'd go for the bi-weekly belly checks before the boy was born and the peds visits when the kiddos were first born.  so now, whenever i see a sunflower, i think of my children.
