it's getting to the point that with all the toy recalls there won't be any toys the boy can play with, and he'll have to resort to playing with sticks and stones and dirt. oh yeah, he does that already.
seriously now. there is hardly anything sold nowadays that is strictly made in america. what a shame. everything from toys to clothes to electronics is made overseas just so the manufactures can save pennies on the dollar. too damn cheap to shell out for insurance and retirement for our own folks. they say that manufacturing cost would double the price of the item. i for one would be willing to pay more for something becos, honestly, i'm tired of worrying about whether or not my kid's getting lead poisoning from playing with his thomas trains or becos some rattle he chewed as a baby had phthalates in it. we'd have less things, but at least more peace of mind.
