how's this for a FO friday?! the log cabin baby blanket is finished!
the pattern is joseph's blankie of many colors by the mason-dixon ladies, using various colors of lion brand cotton ease on size 6 circs. ravel'd here! i guess i should have blocked it, but i CO'd before just before mom came to watch the kiddos.
while i didn't complete it in time for the baby shower, it's now wrapped and delivered and ready for baby, who's due any day now.
this blanket is not hard at all to knit. it's simply 9 garter ridges per strip, casting off then casting on the next strip. the smaller the blanket, the easier to knit. as i have knitting ADHD, the larger it grows, the more bored i get. i guess i'm not going to be one of those knitters who can crank on garter stitch for days on end.
no blanket or gift is complete without a label. i also realized that for some reason, i didn't sew a label on the kiddo's blankets.
